The heat is on
We want to help make moving home as stress free as we can by getting your new heat account set up or generating your final bill or statement as quickly as possible.
If you haven't already heard from us, you'll need to get in touch as soon as possible to let us know that you're moving into a home where we're the heat supplier. We can then set up your new account and send you an email with an activation link to set up your online account.
If you're moving out, you'll need to give us at least 10 days written notice before your tenancy ends or you legally complete on the sale of your home, so we can arrange closing your account. You'll be responsible for paying all charges up until this point. To let us know your moving you can complete our Moving Home form below or, if you'd prefer, you can call and speak to our Customer Care Team.
As we can read your heat meter remotely, we won't ask you to provide us with a final meter reading. We'll take a final reading on the day you move out and use this to produce your final bill or statement. You'll need to provide us with a forwarding address as we may need to communicate with you about your account after you've moved.
Provided you've given us 10 days written notice of your moving date, we'll issue a final bill or statement within 6 weeks of your supply end date. If you have any credit on your account when it’s closed, we'll refund this to you within 10 days of issuing your final statement.
If you have a prepayment meter and have credit left on your meter when your tenancy ends and we close your account, we'll refund this to you within ten days.
